Can you believe it's April already?! Time sure flies when you're having fun - and we are having fun! First, we would like to remind you that funding for adult upgrading is running out - so if you are thinking about upgrading for college or work - now is the time! You need to be enrolled by April 30th to qualify for funding, so don't wait! We are working on ways to still bring you affordable alternatives and upgrading after May 1st, and will talk about that in another blog post.
We're also working on our school goals for the 2015/2016 year, and we would love to get your input for it! Please click over to our survey and let us know what you think!
Finally, we have two great new sites we want to share with you! The first one is for the Kengard Learning Centre, which houses SCIDES and two other schools. Find out all about the KLC by clicking here. The second site we want to share with you, is the new website for the Community Learning Centre, the CLC. CLC is an alternative education facility for high school aged and adult learners, located in the Kengard Learning Centre. It offers great flexibility, as well as many fun and enriching activities throughout the year – daily group lunch and cooking opportunities, FoodSafe course, field trips, WHMIS Training, PE and Art activities, CORE Training and many other valuable experiences.
