Download the following in order to use vClass.

For Users of Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, XP:

To enter a vClass Virtual Classroom from a Windows PC, you will have to first download and install Java Web Start. This is a one-time download that will install Java Web Start and a Java Run-time (if required). When the download is complete, the Java Web Start installation will begin. Once the information dialogue closes, the installation is complete. You should then see a Java Web Start icon on your desktop. 

For Mac OS 9.0 and higher Users:

To enter a vClass Virtual Classroom from a Mac OS 9,  users must first install Open JNLP. This is a one-time download that is about 8 Mb. 

Note: Macintosh OS X 10.1 users do not have to download anything. Macintosh OS X 10.0 users must upgrade to OS X 10.1 or later to use the virtual classroom.
