School in the Summer

School in the summer offers students an opportunity to upgrade their skills. Partial courses are available as tuition free summer remedial programs. Based on academic core subjects, partial Summer Courses allow students to supplement and strengthen their knowledge and skills in specific areas. These partial courses represent a minimum of 40 hours or one third of a course. As such, our summer course offerings are limited to one module or 4 papers.

Local school subject teachers have the resonsibility to select the portions of the course that students need to complete. All applications require the signature of Administration or designate for us to process a student's application.

Requirements for Summer Partial Courses:

 
  • A refundable deposit of $50.00.
  • Full payment for any resources required. Payment is refundable when resources are returned.
  • Student applications and course planner must be received by July 15th. (Students may register and begin courses any time after June 1st.)
  • Course assignments and/or tests must be completed by August 15th.
  • Any outstanding assignments received after August 15th will receive a mark of zero.
  • Summer Partial Courses are limited to 1 complete module or 4 papers (where paper by paper selection is available).
 
NEW Principles of Math 10: Available only to students who have taken PMA10 this year. This course is a streamlined full course which is designed for students who wish to increase thier school grade and have the opportunity for success in Principles of Math 11.

  Students in grades 10 - 12 may register for full courses any time of the year.
