COURSE OUTLINE
It is recommended that students complete:
• Science 8
Tests = 60% of course mark
Written Assignments = 40% of course mark
Science 9 takes students on a scientific discovery trip from subatomic particles all the way to the vastness of space. Science 9 students are encouraged to use the Science Orientation Skills (SOS) Package. This package introduces key concepts such as scientific literacy, methodology, and safety. It also outlines guidelines and examples of lab reports, research strategies and formulas.
